As navigation monitoring is carried out by means VHF (very high frequency) - Automatic Identification System (AIS) receivers, authors propose collect analyse data. However, for geographical system data processing, justified proposal concept, methodological foundations, mathematical models scenarios, which will serve basis development system. They types constructing time/speed matrices optimal routes based on navigational situation. collected provide a 12-36 hour forecast allow determination vessel speeds times, considering specifications, traffic other vessels, queue at locks, hydro- meteorological conditions, estimates intensity density. service expected optimise speed journey time meet logistics challenge.
